The Octopus is an ocean creature with eight effective feet which it utilizes as hands. These are called

I have a betta fish. I bought it a week ago from the market near to my house. It is very active. I put it in a
jar and place it on the table in my bedroom so I can watch it swimming actively whenever I want it.
Sometimes it jumps out of the water when it gets hungry.
Betta fish or sometimes also called as the siamese fighting fish can grow up to six or seven cm long, and
mine is about seven cm long now, so we can consider my fish has the biggest size of all betta fish. The
colour of the body is blue with some black spots on its head and two red fin on the bottom of its body.
Every time I put a mirror next to the jar, the betta fish start to lift its fin, spread its tail and set itself into
a fighting mode, because its reflection in the mirror seems like an opponent to it. This is the reason why
it is called the fighting fish, because it is very aggressive.

Butterflies start out as eggs. Butterflies lay their eggs on leaves. The egg hatches into a caterpillar with a
tube-shaped body. The caterpillar eats leaves, buds, or flowers of plants. Caterpillars eat a lot and grow
fast. Some caterpillars harm plants.
When a caterpillar is full size, it goes into another stage called a chrysalis. Caterpillars attach themselves
to something solid before becoming a chrysalis.
The caterpillar inside the chrysalis changes into a butterfly. Some butterflies make the change in one
week. Some butterflies take years to change.
When the change is complete, the adult butterfly splits the chrysalis. The insect unfolds its wings and
pumps blood and air into them. It spreads out the wings until they dry and harden. The beautiful
butterfly then flies off to slurp nectar from flowers. Most butterflies live only one or two weeks.

Saya punya ikan cupang. Saya membelinya seminggu yang lalu dari pasar dekat rumah saya. Ini sangat aktif. Saya menaruhnya di toples dan meletakkannya di atas meja di kamar tidur saya sehingga saya bisa melihatnya berenang secara aktif kapan pun saya mau. Terkadang ia melompat keluar dari air saat lapar.
Ikan cupang atau kadang disebut juga ikan cupang siam dapat tumbuh hingga enam atau tujuh cm, dan milik saya sekarang panjangnya sekitar tujuh cm, jadi bisa dibilang ikan saya memiliki ukuran terbesar dari semua ikan cupang. Warna tubuhnya biru dengan beberapa bintik hitam di kepala dan dua sirip merah di bagian bawah tubuhnya. Setiap kali saya meletakkan cermin di sebelah toples, ikan cupang mulai mengangkat siripnya, melebarkan ekornya dan mengatur dirinya ke dalam mode bertarung, karena pantulannya di cermin tampak seperti lawannya. Inilah alasan mengapa disebut ikan aduan, karena sangat agresif.

Kupu-kupu berawal sebagai telur. Kupu-kupu bertelur di atas daun. Telur menetas menjadi ulat dengan tubuh berbentuk tabung. Ulat memakan daun, kuncup, atau bunga tanaman. Ulat makan banyak dan tumbuh dengan cepat. Beberapa ulat merusak tanaman.
Saat ulat berukuran penuh, ia masuk ke tahap lain yang disebut kepompong. Ulat menempel pada sesuatu yang kokoh sebelum menjadi kepompong.
Ulat di dalam kepompong berubah menjadi kupu-kupu. Beberapa kupu-kupu membuat perubahan dalam satu minggu. Beberapa kupu-kupu membutuhkan waktu bertahun-tahun untuk berubah.
Saat pergantian selesai, kupu-kupu dewasa membelah kepompong. Serangga membuka sayapnya dan memompa darah dan udara ke dalamnya. Itu melebarkan sayap sampai mengering dan mengeras. Kupu-kupu cantik kemudian terbang untuk menyeruput nektar dari bunga. Kebanyakan kupu-kupu hanya hidup satu atau dua minggu.
